Adopt a Tree Program

Resident of Del Norte Can beautify and add value to their neighborhood and contribute to the community by adopting a tree from the Town. Trees will be available around the end of May. If you would like to adopt a tree, please contact the Del Norte Tree Board or Town Hall 719-657-2708. This will be on a first come first serve basis because we have a limited number of trees. So please act fast.

The Town Public Works department will open and place the tree once the location is approved by the Town and Tree Board.

The property owner is responsible for watering and maintaining the tree for three to five years. Planting will be in the Town right of way adjacent to the owner’s property.  Please take note of the overhead wire locations, sidewalks, driveways, and underground gas, water, and sewer services.
