The Del Norte Master Plan was developed through the grassroots efforts of the Del Norte Trails Organization (DNTO) and its community partners and town government.  The plan is meant to supplement the municipal Joint Master Plan and assist agencies and individuals with objectives and maps to guide future trail development in the county.  To review the plan please click the file below.

Del Norte Trails Master Plan

The population of Del Norte is 1,655 with a median age of 39.  As the county seat, government accounts for 40% of the jobs in town.  With the Rio Grande Hospital and Clinic located in Del Norte, health services account for about 20% of jobs.
